Captain Stamatis Mendrinos has a Master License and sailed from 1982 to 1992 as App Officer/2nd Mate and Chief Mate with Mayamar Marine Enterprises and Ermis Maritime where he worked for 11 years (1992 to 2003). He joined the offices of the latter in 1996 and worked as Marine Superintendent. He has been working with A.S.M. since 2003. Captain Stamatis Mendrinos has a Master License and more than a decade sea going experience. He started his shore career almost 20 years ago and he joined our Company in 2003. His unique personality motivates his colleagues and our crew. Due to his long experience (ashore and at sea) he is able to deal with any demanding task that occur to the department and in general to the Company.
On a personal note… I enjoy Monday-Friday as much as I enjoy the weekend. I’ve turned my hobbies into my job. Visiting our vessels all over the world is combination of passion and work, which I keep choosing over and over again. When I’m home I usually spend my spare time reading navigation books, having long walks by the sea with my dog, and enriching my ”happy socks” collection!
